Kyriana Lynch

Kyriana Lynch is a lifelong homeschooler and writing enthusiast who took her first Brave Writer course in 2001 and has been hooked ever since! After homeschooling through high school, she earned a BA, MA, and PhD in English Literature. For the past three years, she’s guided grad students at the University of Notre Dame through the world of competitive fellowships, helping them secure nearly $900k in funding. She also taught both high school and college writing and now works as a grant writer for a nonprofit managing a half-a-million-dollar portfolio.

Kyriana knows firsthand how scholarships change lives. As a homeschooler, she earned a mix of institutional, state, and private scholarships that covered a huge chunk of her undergrad costs, then landed a fully funded PhD with a $30k annual stipend.
